Midwest Symposium for Leadership in Behavior Disorders - Master Teacher Project
Kaye Otten founded the Midwest Symposium for Leadership in Behavior Disorders (MSLBD) Master Teacher Project in 2006 with the purpose of closing the well-documented research to practice gap. Master Teachers are a group of experienced professional educators committed to this mission who promote the use of evidence-based practices in their work directly with students who exhibit behavioral challenges in schools. The Master Teacher group provides a strand of practical, "what to do on Monday" presentations at the annual February Symposium, and contributes tips and tools to help educators in their daily practice.
