ToolKit

Tier One

The Tier One tools are a result of multiple collaborations with various school districts. Stakeholders on the front lines provided feedback regarding the ease of understandability and usability.

Tier Two

The Tier Two tools are based on and extend the work of Dr. Clayton Cook and his Student Intervention Matching (SIM) form which aides in matching Tier Two interventions based on the potential function(s) of challenging behavior.

Tier Three

The Tier Three tools compile information from multiple resources which provide core components of effective planning and programming for individuals with more chronic social, emotional and/or behavioral challenges.

The tools on this site are consistent with and are meant to potentially enhance the work done through The National Center on Positive Interventions and Supports. PBIS is a FRAMEWORK that can be used with many other models, tools, and resources to provide a multi-tiered system of behavior support that is an extension of the science of behavioral analysis as it applies to the school setting(s). They are intended to support desired behavior in school environments and their use and sharing with others is encouraged!
